I worked on The King's School's website between the years of 2005 and 2008, before I left the school for pastures new.
My primary roles were to train staff and students on its use, as well as to populate and edit any and all content. I also played a major part in the creation of the website in a consultancy basis, giving opinions on content, use and design, as well as meeting with various members of both the school community and outside agencies to discuss the creation of the website and the technologies implemented within it.
The website has been redesigned many times since I departed, and the current iteration can be found here.
Ryans FM was a radio station I began to entertain classmates and to start my first forays into the world of broadcasting.
Originally running in 2008, before taking a year's hiatus and returning in 2010, Ryans FM took the form of a weekly Wednesday night quiz and, at its peak, reached around 80-100 listeners. The website was completely interactive, allowing listerers to submit their quiz answer electronically to the studio, and offered listeners a chance to talk to both the studio and other participants while the show was live.
Ryans FM ceased to be in late 2010, just before I began studying at Leeds University, due to time constraints.

Wesley Scott (Scottie) is a compere on the Canary Island of Tenerife. He commissioned me to create an online presence, where friends could find his latest news and also find him while they were on holiday.
The website includes samples of dance music he plays nightly, as well as a full contact form and photo gallery.
It can be visited here.
As part of my second-year New Media degree at The University of Leeds, I was tasked with creating an online application for the London speakeasy, The Mayor of Scaredy Cat Town.
I utilised HTML5 and CSS3, as well as Javascript, to create an online "web-hunt" across Facebook and Twitter to build an interactive narrative with end goals of increasing brand awareness, brand interaction across social media and also real-world interaction by making a reservation at the bar.
The campaign can be initialised here.
A project in my first semester at Leeds University, the Design for New Media module tasked me to create a complete branding package for the 2020 Olympics. I chose to base my project around the city of New York.
Included in the project were a logo design which would be used consistently across all materials subsequently created, a poster advertising the event (seen above) and, finally, three website pages.
The theme for my project was based around the work of the artist Mondrian, who was inspired by the city of New York himself. Also, for the poster, I drew on the work of Le Corbusier.
As part of the rebranding of NEW College, Pontefract, myself and a friend created a promotional video to advertise the college to prospective students and feeder schools.
After shooting had been complete, the video was edited and finished using a combination of Motion and Final Cut Pro - both products in Apple's Final Cut Studio package.
Subsequently, the video we created was amalgamated into a larger video advertising the college and my friend and I won £100 as a prize for creating the video.
Flash game aimed at 3-6 year olds developed as part of my degree at Leeds University.
The game's aim is to teach young children the importance of keeping beaches tidy in a fun, interesting and informative way.
The game includes randomisation, a scoring system and in-game audio, as well as simple menu navigation.
NEW College Student Radio ('NCSR') was a brand new venture for NEW College in 2010.
In conjunction with the college's Media department and a friend, I worked on the project from concept to inception. Tasks involved countless production meetings, the establishment of a permenant home for the station and the population of the broadcast studio with equipment, co-hosting the show with a member of the Media staff as well as promoting the project.
The station continues to be broadcast weekly within college. Its website can be found here.
I am an active member of Leeds Student Radio, hosting a weekly show named "Transmission". Transmission plays "the latest, the greatest and everything in between" every Thursday from 1-2pm and involves full planning, production and execution throughout.
Podcasts are created after each broadcast and made available online, as well as through social networking sites such as Twitter, Facebook and Tumblr. Each podcast has to comform to strict OFCOM rules with regard to the distrubtion of music and, where download links are available through iTunes and the LSRfm website, only 30 seconds of music is included. Streaming links are covered by LSRfm's PRS license and the full music tracks are included.
I continue to present Transmission weekly.
